Jim Carrey stars as Carl Allen in Yes Man, the story of a man who is challenged, through a self-help program, to say yes to everything and anything that comes his way, be it a favor, a request, a suggestion, or an invitation. Unleashing the power of "yes" first transforms Carl's life for the better, but soon enough, he discovers that being open to endless possibilities can have its drawbacks.
The movie is based on a true story and novel and according to Wikipedia, Jim Carrey will not have a fixed, stable salary for his performance, but will rather be paid based on the movie's success. I really hope that this movie turns out to be good and that it does well because this guy really deserves a break. He's good at everything he does, but he just hasn't been very lucky with the last few projects he's worked on.
The movie is set for a December 19th opening date.
