Last week, seemingly out of nowhere, Kanye West revealed not only his near-future plans to release a new album on December 16th titled 808's and Heartbreak, but he also premiered its first single at the 2008 MTV VMAs finale. 'Love Lockdown' marks a major change in Kanye West's musical style, at it is his first solo single not to feature any rapping, instead having him singing using the Auto-Tune vocal effect (T-Pain's effect). His whole album will supposedly feature him singing.
