A week after the LQ WebRip comes the CDQ Explicit GroupRip, which basically means this is the one and only version to download. As for the album itself, I'm happy that Akon understood that he had to have 'Against The Grain' on it, even though it has been floating around the net for almost half a year. I need a few more listens to the whole product before decided how I feel about it, but right now, I'm leaning more towards saying that Konvicted was a much better effort. Ok, so first off, the songs don't all match the official tracklisting which was confirmed not too long ago. Then, the quality varies from song to song, ranging from horrible to very good. Yet, if anything, this gives you a good idea of what to expect for the final retail version of Freedom. We'll just have to wait for a more official leak to confirm whether all these songs will be included or not, but until then, I recommend you check it out! I had my doubts on the Konvict boss' follow-up to the great Konvincted, but this leak reassured a bit.

Wow, I've been looking forward to this album since forever. I've always liked Nelly and I think he's got a je-ne-sais-quoi which makes him stand out. He just generally seems like a real nice guy. Plus, I liked him in The Longest Yard. Now Brass Knuckles, which comes out today actually, confirms the St. Louis rapper's status as one of the prominent and innovative actors in the game. This album really took me by surprise. Didn't expect it to be that hot. I've had Colby O'Donis tracks featured on more than one occasion on T.A.T.W., and really, this kid is something else. Akon labelling him as Konvict Muzik's 'secret weapon' was really spot-on. I strongly suggest that you read up on his past achievements, this artist is hopefully gonna be sticking around for while. Come September 16th, go out and support him.
